All students will have a option to have clothing designs presented the NYC Urban Fashion Week runway, at intro show to the final show on Saturday
Class cost 225.00 (class prepaid)
6 full hours of teaching
includes sewing machine, patterns, fabrics, notions,and handouts
all students will receive certificate and review
Teacher background Michael Bernard
Established his first apparel fashion and design company in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1992. He studied custom sewing/ commerical talioring & design at louisiana Technical. He has project managed apparel design teams for several companies such as Cluett, Peabody & Co.(Arrow shirt division) and Wimbley designer neckties. He has work with many designers and sewing instructor have awarded him much success in the textile industry.
Michael is an independent design consultant, with specializations in product development,garment construction,fabric textures and color trend, and pattern making and grading. He has worked with fashion decor-manufacturing firms to produce upscale designs concepts, ranging from: urban wear, custom suites, designer accessories, and couture evening attire.
